October Mountains

This is a picture of Anton jumping over water using his walking stick. The picture was taken on the 28/12 in a road leading to the October Mountains Reservation, near Lenox, in the Berkshires. That day we tried to drive into the woods. All the roads were very slippery due to ice and melting snow. In the end we decided to walk instead.

Goose Pond

After Xmas 2008 we went to the Berkshires. We had a small cabin in Lee, near Stockbridge.

Nearby is the Goose Pond. Goose Pond has a shelter for the Appalachian Trail. On the 28/12 we walked down to Goose Pond at sunrise. That day was unusually warm for the season. The Pond was covered with a mist that quickly disappeared after sunrise.
